Seek enlightenment. Get educated.
You are a random guy who decides to seek enlightenment through the help of the all-knowing internet. Whether you search using phrases like 'nearby hospital', 'little tummy demands immediate attention', or 'getting scammed how to get money back', you need to keep seeking for wisdom, knowledge, and guidance to make sure you satisfy your needs. I thought this game was super fun! Great vibes and interesting gameplay. It's funny to realize what the searches are while you're typing them. I have a lets play of this coming out tomorrow where I share more of my in depth thoughts (Sootonym on yt).
Thanks for making such a cool game, all the best.
hi, thankyou for playing!
glad you enjoyed the game!
i was actually gonna make the textbox editable and all that so you can select them all and delete it, but i couldn't get it right during the jam. but mapping a button to clear the entire text should be no problem. gonna add it should i have the time.
the break session initially was going to be a 'shopping' feature where you can trade stuff (like trade 1 cash for +1 in other stats) but i scrapped it due to time constraints. but instead of ditching it entirely, i decided to just turn it into a place you could rest your fingers for a while.
and for the progression part, initially i was going to add some kind of 'wild goose chase' narrative (like buying increasingly expensive guidebook to enlightenment) but again, due to time constraints, i decided to turn it into an endless game instead, as it is now.
also, for the music, music made by LAKEY INSPIRED & dixxy should be safe to use, as long as you credit them properly, which i did on the game over screen.
